Chimera

Usually the product of genetical engineering, a chimera is an organism that is composed of two or more different species. In Greek Mythology, a chimera was usually a creature that was a combination of a lion, goat and snake.

Zelgadiss Graywords is the most famous example of a chimera in the "Slayers" universe. In his case, he is one-third human, one-third brow demon and one-third golem.
