Lydia (Japanese: リディア lit. Ridia) is a beachhouse restaurant owner who employed Lina Inverse and Naga the Serpent after they begged to be fed.

Lina and Naga promised to defeat a giant squid that was wrecking the beach in exchange for their meal payment. However, they let the squid go after they discovered it was the parent of some baby squid. Lydia then made Lina and Naga work the entire summer to pay for the damage the squid caused to the restaurant.
