Slayers REVOLUTION

Slayers Revolution is the official name for the fourth season of the Slayers anime tv series, set to broadcast July 3, 2008[1] [2].
Following the release of Slayers TRY, rumors circulated about a fourth season of the the anime called Slayers AGAIN. According to this rumor, the project was abandoned due to conflicts in Megumi Hayashibara's schedule, resulting in a lack of interest.[3] There are no official sources available to confirm this.
However, the April 2008 issue of Dragon Magazine reported that a fourth season of the Slayers anime is now in the works, to be released at some point in the near future.
Currently, there is very little confirmed, detailed information about the release date, casting, plot, etc. Dragon Magazine has confirmed that "Lina and Gourry and others" will be appearing as main characters. Since the article featured new illustrations of Zelgadiss, Amelia, and Xelloss, it seems likely those characters will make an appearance as well.[4]

All of these have worked on previous seasons of Slayers. [6] The main characters will be played by the same voice actors as in previous seasons.[7]
Like the first season, Slayers Revolution will be divided into two different story arcs, each taking roughly half the season.[8] The plot of both story arcs will be based on the novels not already adapted for Slayers and Slayers NEXT (ie: novels 9-15, the second novel story arc).[9]
