Slayers Universe is a major Slayers fan website that began in 1997 and was frozen April 24, 2001. It was and still is considered by many fans to be one of the, if not the most popular and well-known English-language Slayers websites.
On May 26, 2006, Xelloss, the webmaster of Slayers Universe, officially announced that the site's successor would be KanzakaDex, and he encouraged fans to contribute to the wiki.
