Could someone please add his kanji? -- Orochidayu 02:02, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
As I asked before, could someone please add Rodimus' kanji? -- Orochidayu 01:10, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps no one currently knows the appropriate kanji. --Pip25 06:32, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- Most Slayers characters' names are written in katakana, not kanji. I think Rodimus' name in katakana would be something like: ロディムス (though I'm only guessing, so someone should check). Catgirl the Crazy 20:34, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Err, Shansito, the section you deleted was valid trivia. I don't think all that many characters share the name "Rodimus" in fiction... --Pip25 22:01, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed, but just up to a certain point. It's true that it seems there aren't many characters named Rodimus. But that kind of trivia is almost the same as if I say "the Dig Volt spell is based on Pikachu's Thunder attack, since they both are electric shocks" ^^u If it were some kind of not-well-known statement on the character, with its reference included, that would be more than acceptable. Or even I think it would be OK to have some kind of article specially dedicated to that kind of things. But if it's just something that someone made up, I don't think that should be included in the article of the character. Specially since, sadly and you know it, there are tons of people who tend to believe more in that kind of "fanon facts" and "fanfics facts" than the real ones. --shansito 22:18, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
- I think these two names being the same is a bit more relevant than two attacks which both rely on electricity, since the latter happening by pure chance is obviously more likely. This is not made up or fanon, the names being the same is a fact, if likely a coincidence. (Then again, one of the regions where Transformers was the most popular in the late 80s/early 90s was Japan, and Rodimus (the robot) was romanized as "rodimasu" just like the character in Slayers, so... there is a chance it may even be more than that. Of course we'll never know, and such speculation obviously doesn't belong into the article - but the coincidence itself does.) --Pip25 21:07, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
